The heart shaped crop top is what you get when you are searching for an easy to make summer top that works up super fast. This top can be finished in about an hours. You only have to crochet the front while the back is made up of only straps. 5.0 mm crochet hook
Dk weight yarn – 100g
Stitch markers (Optional)

17 stitches /19 rows= 10 cm/4 inch square in Sc
Stitch Guide (US Version):
Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet
Slst: Slip stitch
Sc2tog: Single crochet two together
Sc3tog: Single crochet three together
Pattern note
- Ch 1 at the beginning of a row doesn’t count as a stitch
Pattern Instructions:
Row 1: Ch 2, skip 1 chain, Sc into the chain (1 Sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. 3 Sc into the Sc from the previous row. (3 Sc)
Row 3: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc into the first stitch, 1 Sc in the middle stitch, 2 Sc in the last stitch. (5 Sc)
Row 4: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc into the first stitch, 1 Sc in all stitches, 2 Sc in the last stitch. (7 Sc)
Row 5-33: Repeat row 4. (65 Sc)
Row 34: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first stitch, Sc into each stitch across. (65 Sc)
Rows 35-43: Repeat row 34
Divide project into 2 (the 33rd stitch is the middle stitch)
Row 44: Ch 1, turn. Sc2tog, Sc into the next 28 stitches. Sc3tog. (30 stitches)
Row 45: Ch 1, turn. Sc2tog, Sc into each stitch across, end row with Sc2tog (28 stitches)
Rows 46-56: Repeat row 45 (6 stitches)
Row 57: Ch 1, turn. Sc3tog twice. (2 stitches). Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Continue on the other half.
Reattach yarn to the middle stitch with a slip knot
Row 44: Ch 1 to secure Sc3tog, Sc into the next 28 stitches. Sc2tog. (30 stitches)
Row 45: Ch 1, turn. Sc2tog, Sc into each stitch across, end row with Sc2tog (28 stitches)
Rows 46-56: Repeat row 45 (6 stitches)
Row 57: Ch 1, turn. Sc3tog twice. (2 stitches).
Finishing
Ch 50, skip first chain, Sc into the next 49 chains. Slst into the next stitch. Sc into the side of each row till you get to row 35, Ch 70, skip first chain, Sc into the next 69 chains. Slst to the side of row 34, continue Sc into the side of each row till you get to the first stitch of the top make 2 Sc into it and continue Sc into the side of each till you get to row 34 on the other side, Ch 70, skip first chain, Sc into the next 69 chains. Slst to the side of row 35, continue Sc into the side of each row till you get to the top to make the second neck strap. Slst into the first stitch, Ch 50, skip the first chain, Sc into the next 49 stitches. Slst into the second stitch, continue Sc into the side of each row till you get to the starting point. Finish with a Slst to the first Sc of the round. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Weave in all ends
