While I used Tshirt yarn for this crochet bag pattern, you can use paracord, cotton macrame, aran yarn etc. Depending on the thickness of your yarn, your bag size will vary and can be a crochet clutch purse or even crochet coin purse.
SIZES
This crochet bag pattern has only one sizing option, however the measurements of your bag may differ depending on the thickness of your yarn.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc 28, 1 Sc, 2 Sc in the next stitch repeat three times. Sc 28. (65 Sc)
Row 4: Ch 1, turn. Sc 28, *1 Sc in the next two stitches, 2sc in next stitch mark the last stitch * repeat three times. Sc 28. (68 Sc)
Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc 28, 2 Sc in the next stitch, 1 Sc in the next three stitches repeat three times, Sc 28 (71 Sc)

Set your work aside, with a different ball or the other tail of your yarn,

Rows 3-10: Repeat row 2. Ch 1 and cut yarn. Weave in ends.
Assembling
Continue where we left off on row 11.
Ch 1, make 1 Sc on the side of each row including the mid point till you get to the other end (23 Sc),
Ch 1, attach one of sides to the bag by slst through the side of each of the 10 rows of the side and 10 stitches through Blo on the bag, continue 5 Slst to the bottom of the side of the bag and 5 stitches through Blo on the bag, attach the other side of the side of the bag to the bag by slst through the side of each of the 10 rows of the side and 10 stitches through Blo on the bag. In all 25 Slst. One side done.
Slst in the Blo of the next 39 stitches. Attach the other side of the bag like we did before.
Slst through the Blo of the 23 Sc made on the side of each row earlier. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
Attach lock, D or O rings and chain. Add a linen and zipper if you prefer.
