Crochet Adult Slipper Boots Worked Flat

This crochet adult slippers boots is a must have for winter weather. It looks great in just about any colour, even in neutral colours.  This easy crochet slipper pattern has a ribbed cuff detailing that gives your feet extra warmth during the cold days.

DESIGN

The crochet adult slipper boots pattern is quite an easy design. It starts at the sole with the sole worked in rows. It upper part of the crochet slipper is made and then the final part which is a long ribbed cuff is made, the seam is sewn doe to the sole with the long tail left from the ribbed cuff and you crochet boots is done!

EASY

this crochet adult boots pattern isn’t just adorable, it is super easy to make and works up pretty fast. It uses simple crochet stitches making it a perfect project for crochet beginners.

Need cozy crochet boots for winter? Look no further, this easy crochet slipper boots keep your legs warm from your sole up above your ankle.

YARN

I used worsted weight yarn in two complementary colors for this project. You can make it in just one color if you prefer.

This fast and easy crochet adult slipper boots has 5 sizing options for US women size 5-9. This blog post however contains instructions for US women size 7 (9.5 inches sole)

Materials:

5.0 mm crochet hook

4.0 mm crochet hook

Dk weight yarn – 200g (100g each of Colour A and B)

Colour A = Green

Colour B = White

Stitch markers (Optional)

Yarn needle

Beginner

Gauge:

16 stitches /8 rows= 10 cm/4 inch square in Dc for 4.00 mm hook

16 stitches /7 rows= 10 cm/4 inch square in Dc for 5.00 mm hook

Stitches:

Ch: Chain

Sc: Single Crochet

Hdc: Half double crochet

Dc: Double crochet

Dc2tog: Double crochet two together

Slst: Slip stitch

BLO:  Back loops only

Pattern Notes:

  • Ch 1 or Ch 2 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
  • The slipper is worked flat

Pattern Instructions:

Using 5.0 mm crochet hook

With colour A, Ch 53

Row 1:1 Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, Mark the stitch with a stitch marker,  1 Sc  in each stitch across. 52 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Sc in the next 22 stitches, 2 Sc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Sc in the next 22 stitches, 2 Sc in the last stitch. 60 stitches.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Sc in the next 26 stitches, 2 Sc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Sc in the next  26 stitches, 2 Sc in the last stitch. 68 stitches.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Sc in the next 11 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 11 stitches, 1 Dc in the next 8 stitches, 2 Dc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Dc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 11 stitches, 1 Sc in the next  11 stitches, 2 Sc in the last stitch. 76 stitches.

Row 5: Ch 1, turn. 2 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Sc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Dc in the next 26 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Sc in the next 12 stitches, 2 Sc in the last stitch. 78 stitches. Finish last stitch with a slip stitch of colour B

Using 4.0 mm crochet hook

Row 6:  (With colour B) Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the front loop only of the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 SC in the front loops only in each stitch across. Finish last stitch with a slip stitch of colour A 78  stitches.

Row 7:   (With colour A )Ch 2, turn.1 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Hdc in each stitch across 78 stitches.

Row 8:  Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 18 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 14 stitches,  Dc2tog 6 times, 1 Hdc in the next 14 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 19 stitches. 72 stitches.

Row 9: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 17 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 12 stitches,  Dc2tog 6 times, 1 Hdc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 18 stitches. 66 stitches.

Row 10: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 17 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 11 stitches,  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  11  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 18 stitches. 62 stitches.

Row 11: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 16 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next stitches 10,  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  10  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 17 stitches. 58 stitches.

Row 12: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 15 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 9 stitches,  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  9  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 16 stitches. 54 stitches.

Row 13: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 13 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 9 stitches  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  9  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 14 stitches. 50 stitches.

Row 14: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 8 stitches  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  8  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 13 stitches. 46 stitches.

Row 15: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 11 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 7 stitches  Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next  7  stitches, 1 Sc in the last 12 stitches. 42 stitches.

Row 16: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 Sc  in each stitch across. 42 stitches.

Cuff

Row 1:Ch 25, Sc in the second Ch from hook, Sc in the remaining chains. 24 Sc. Skip the first stitch and Slst to the 2nd stitch on the slipper.

Row 2: Turn. Do not Ch 1.Sc in BLO  of each of the 24 Sc from previous row.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO in each of the 24  Sc from previous row. Skip a stitch then Slst into the next stitch on the slipper.

Row 4-20 : repeat rows 2 and 3

Row 21: Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO if each of the 24 Sc from previous row. Slst to the 21st stitch on slipper. Ch1 and cut yarn.

Rejoin yarn to the other end of the slipper and repeat the process.

Slst the first 10 stitches together.

If you do not like the open slit. You can start to cuff from one end and finish it at the other end, ending it with a repeat of row 2 or you could Slst all 24 stitches together at the middle instead of just 10 stitches.

FINISHING

With right sides facing, Sew up seam from the top of the slippers down to the sole and  weave in ends.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. 2 Dc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Dc in the next 26 stitches, 2 Dc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Dc in the next  26 stitches, 2 Dc in the last stitch. 68 stitches.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn. 2 Dc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Dc in the next 11 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 11 stitches, 1 Tr in the next 8 stitches, 2 Tr in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Tr in the next 8 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 11 stitches, 1 Dc in the next  11 stitches, 2 Dc in the last stitch. 76 stitches.

Row 5: Ch 1, turn. 2 Dc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Dc in the next 12 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 12 stitches, 1 Tr in the next 26 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 12 stitches, 1 Dc in the next 12 stitches, 2 Dc in the last stitch. 78 stitches. Row 7:   (With colour A )Ch 2, turn.1 Htr in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Htr in each stitch across 78 stitches.

Row 8:  Ch 1, turn. 1 Dc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Dc in the next 18 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 14 stitches,  Tr2tog 6 times, 1 Htr in the next 14 stitches, 1 Dc in the last 19 stitches. 72 stitches.

Row 9: Ch 1, turn. 1 Dc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Dc in the next 17 stitches, 1 Htr in the next 12 stitches,  Tr2tog 6 times, 1 Htr in the next 12 stitches, 1 Dc in the last 18 stitches. 66 stitches.
