What I love about the crochet pleated baby dress is the pleat detailing. This dress fits babies 0-6 months, the pdf pattern contains instructions for 6-12 months, 12-18 months and 18-24 months. Puff Stitch: Yarn over insert your hook into the specified stitch/space. Yarn over and pull up a long loop. *(Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch/space. Yarn over again and pull up a long loop)* repeat two more times. Yarn over and pull through all 9 loops on your hook

Edging
Using 5 mm crochet hook
With Colour B
Ch 3, Tr in the first stitch, slst in the next, *Tr in the next, slst in the next,* repeat till the end of row, continue *Tr in the next, slst in the next,* on the side by working into the side of each row, continue around the whole piece, slst to the first stitch of the edging. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Cut a long piece of colour A and wrap around the middle of the piece to form a bow.
Attach the bow to the middle of the dress on row 8
Finishing
Sew on a button to the second stitch on the right side of the back.
close the button in between the first and second stitch on the left.
Weave in all ends.
