Hi everyone, this is Toyba from Toy Slap creations
0:20
Today I'm going to be making this baby Burnett in size 0 to 6 months
0:25
For this project, I'm going to be knitting DKWittian and 5.5 mm crochet hook I'm going to be doubling this here and here to make up for a decay weight
0:36
so to start I'm going to start the magic ring imagine crank is just a loose slip knot
0:44
which puts my hook here and then chain chain two one and two then I'm
1:00
I'll make a double crochet into the ring. I'm going to mark this double crochet
1:12
Then I'll make an additional 11 double crochet. So I have a 12 double crochet
1:20
So go ahead and complete your 12 double crochet and I'll join you when I'm true with mine
1:27
So I've made 12 double crochet. I've closed my. magic finger. So I'm going to remove the stitch marker and finish this round off with a slip
1:35
stitch. There. So I have 12 double crochet. So moving on to round two now, I'm going to
1:45
chain two. One and two and then make two double crochet into the first stitch
1:52
one i'll mark my first double crochet and then make a second one into the same stitch
2:02
two then i'll make two double crochet into each stitch around and at end of round two
2:13
i should have a little of 24 double crochets so keep going around and make two double crochets into each
2:21
stitch from the previous row and I will join you at the end of the round
2:28
So I have 24 double crochets so far. So to finish round two, I'm going to remove my stitch marker and then finish the round
2:35
with a slip stitch to the first double crochet. So next I'm going to moving on to round three, chain two and walk two double
2:46
crochets into the first stitch. Mark the first. double crochet this is not necessary just to help keep count then make one
3:02
double crochet into the next two stitches then make two double crochets into the next
3:13
stitch and the second one double crochet into the next two stitches. So we just keep repeating this around, making two double crochet in a
3:30
stitch and one double crochet into the next two stitches. At the end of the row, we should have
3:37
at the end of the round you have a little of 32 double crochets. So keep going, I will join you at the end
3:44
of the round. So I'm sure it's round three. I have these two double crochets so far to feel
3:51
I'm going to remove my stitch marker and finish the round with a sleeve stitch to the first double crochet
3:58
So moving on to round four now I'm going to chain two
4:02
One two and make two double crochets into the first stitch. One, mark the first double crochet and then one more into the same stitch
4:18
So make one double crochet. make one double crochet into the next three stitches
4:36
So make two double crochet into the next stitch. And one double crochet into the next stitches
4:50
two in the last one so just keep going around making two double crochet in a stitch and one double crochet in the next three stitches At the end of this round you have a total of 40 double crochets
5:07
So go right and finish yours. I'll join you and I'm sure it's mine. So I'm about to finish round four
5:14
I'm going to remove my stitch marker and finish the round of the sniff stitch. So we have 40 double crochets so far
5:21
Even on to round five now I'm going to change two and make two double crochets in the same
5:26
the first stitch mark the first double crochet and make one more into the same stitch
5:41
then make one double crochet into the next four stitches one three and the last one four so just keep repeating this around make two double crochet in a stitch
6:11
and then one double crochet in the next four stitches at the end of this round you have a total of
6:16
48 double crochets so go and go ahead and finish yours i will join you and i'm sure it's mine
6:21
So I've completed round five, I have forty eight double cushies in total
6:29
So I'm going to finish this round with a slip stitch to the first stitch
6:37
So from here I'm going to be working in rules. So moving on to row six now
6:41
I'm going to slip into the first stitch already. So I'm going to slip stitch into the second stitch
6:51
So chain one and then make a double crochet into the same stitch
6:58
Mark the single crochet. And make one double crochet in each stitch around
7:09
You're not going to work into the last stitch. So you're going to have a total of 46 single crochets
7:16
So just go ahead and do this. Make single crochet into each stitch around
7:21
and I'll join you and I'm sure it's mine. So I finished my row of single crochet
7:29
Now we're working to the last stitch. So I have total of 46 single crochets
7:34
So moving on to row 7 now, chain one and turn. Make a single crochet into the first stitch
7:41
And then a single crochet into each stitch across. So we have it still over six double crochet
7:50
double crochet again for this sorry 46 single crochet for row 7 to just go ahead and make your
7:58
row of single crochet and I will join you when I'm sure it's mine so I'm sure it's round
8:05
seven I have to solo of 46 single crochet so we're not around and row 8 now chain two
8:12
turn this change to count as a double crochet from row 8 on so I'm going to walk into the next
8:20
I'm going to skip the first stitch as this double crochet counters the stitch
8:25
And into the second stitch, make a double crochet. Then I'll make a double crochet into each stitch across
8:35
And end of the row, I have a total of 46 double crochets
8:39
So go ahead, I make double crochet into each stitch across. And I'll join you when I'm sure it's my
8:45
So I'm showing with row eight, I have a digital of 46 double crochets
8:50
So moving on to row, now chain one turn single crochet into the first stitch and single crochet into each
8:58
stitch across at the end of row nine shall have total of 46 single crochets so go ahead and
9:05
finish your row of single crochet I will join you and I'm sure it's mine so I'm
9:11
about to complete row now I have 45 the single crochet so far so I'm going to make my last
9:16
single crochet to the top of the chain two from the previous row so now I have
9:20
I have 46 single crochet. Now moving on to round 10. I'm going to, sorry, row 10, I'm going to chain to turn
9:29
This change to count as a stitch. So I'm going to go ahead and make my second stitch
9:34
Yarn over and go to the second double crochet from row 8
9:40
And make your front post double crochet. Yarn over
9:50
Skip the second stitch from row 9 and make a double crochet into the third stitch
10:01
Then over skip the third stitch from row 8 and make a front post double crochet around the fourth stitch from row 8
10:10
Then make a double crochet into the fifth stitch from row 9
10:15
So I just basically alternating between the two rules. So next I'm going to skip this and make a front post double crochet around the next one
10:27
skip a stitch on row 9 make a front make a double crochet into the next stitch so i just
10:34
keep doing that across and i'll join you and i'm true with the row so i'm almost through with
10:41
row 10 now i made a front post double crochet and i see i have two stitches left so i'm going to
10:48
make a double crochet into each of the remaining two stitches so i'm finishing the row
10:57
with two double crochets. So moving on to row 11 now, chain one, turn
11:06
Make a single crochet into the first stage. And the single crochet into each stitch across
11:14
So we have a six single crochet at the end of row 11. So go ahead and finish the row and I'll join you in
11:21
I'm sure it's mine. So I'm sure with 311. I've made 46
11:27
single crochet. So moving on to row 12 now, chain two, one, two, so on. This change to
11:34
count as a double crochet. So I'm going to yarn over and walk into the second stitch
11:40
Make a double crochet into the second stitch. Yend over. And I'll reach over to the double crochet from row 10
11:54
This is the first stitch from row 10. The second stitch is the front stitch. post double crochet the third stitch is a double crochet so I'm going to
12:01
yarn over and make a front post double crochet around the double crochet the
12:06
third stitch from R R R10 make a front post sorry let me do that again make the
12:13
front post double crochet I'll skip the third stitch from Rue 11 and then make a double crochet into the fourth row fourth stitch sorry
12:27
yarn over and make a double a front post double crochet around the next double crochet so
12:36
basically i'm going to be skipping the front post double crochets and then making a front
12:41
post double crochet around the double crochet from two rows below then make skip a stitch
12:47
here and then make the double crochet on the previous row from a merry level so i'll make a double
12:57
crochet here, yarn over, skip this front post double crochet and make a front post double
13:03
crochet around the double crochet from two rows below. And skip a stitch here and make a double crochet into the next stitch
13:16
Skip this front post double crochet and make a front post double crochet around the double
13:20
crochet from two rows below. a stitch here and make a double crochet into the next stitch so just keep repeating that
13:30
and i'll join you and i'm about to finish the rule so i'm about to finish
13:35
route i'm going to finish the row with a double crochet into the last stitch
13:43
so moving on to the 13 now chain one tonne single crochet into the first stage
13:51
and single crochet into each stitch across so quite I'll finish that I'll try you when I'm true with row 13 so I'm true with
14:02
13 now so chain to and turn for row 14 to row 17 I just going to repeat
14:11
row 10 to 13 so now row 14 is a repeat of row 10 row 15 is a repeat of row 11 and
14:20
row 16 is a repeat of row 12 and rule 3rd M rule 17 is a repeat of rule 13 so now I'm repeating routine chain to turn
14:31
this chain took as a double crochet so yarn over and make a front post double
14:37
crochet around the second stitch double crochet skip the second stitch on the previous
14:51
double crochet into the next stitch. Skip this front post double crochet
14:58
Make a front post double crochet around the next double crochet Skip the next stitch here and make a double crochet into the next one so just keep repeating that just go ahead and repeat through 10 to 13 again and I will
15:15
join you when I'm true with row 17 so I'm true with row 17 this is all my bonus looks like so far
15:23
so I'm going to make row 18 now which is at my row in this edge
15:30
here so to follow 18 I'm going to chain one and turn make a single crochet into the first
15:39
stitch skip the second stitch and into the third stage I'm going to make five double
15:46
crochets one two three three
16:00
four and five. I'll skip the next stitch and make a single crochet into the next one
16:14
Skip the next stitch and make five double crochets into the next one
16:30
four and five i'll skip a stitch make a single crochet into the next one skip a stitch
16:42
and make five double crochets again so i just keep doing that thing i'm about to finish the
16:49
rule i'll join you in i'm about to finish the row so i'm about to complete row eating i have
16:55
i have made five double crochets and i have three stitches left so i'm going to skip to
17:00
I make a single crochet into the last stitch. Chain one to secure and then cut my arm
17:08
So I'm sure with the bonnet. The only thing left to do now is the straps
17:13
So for the strap, I'm going to chain 38. So make a slip knot
17:24
Then make a chain of 38. So I'll join you when I'm true with my
17:30
chain of 38. So I've made a chain of 38. Now I'm going to attach that to my bonnet here
17:42
So on the side of the last tree I'm going to attach the chain
17:50
So attach with a stiff stitch. Chain on to secure and then make a single crochet into that stitch
18:00
and then make a single crochet on the side of each row to get to row six
18:08
So you have a total of 13 single crochets. So you make a single crochet on the side of each row here to get row six
18:20
So you have the same single crochet. Then you make a single crochet into the two skip stitch from row five here
18:28
The two Csia, we didn't work to make one single crochet into each of them
18:33
Then you make a single crochet on the side of each row on this other hand here
18:38
That's another 13 single crochet. Then you chain 39. So go ahead and do that
18:44
And I'll join you when I'm sure with mine. So I've gone around and then I've made my chain of 39
18:52
So now I'm going to skip this first chain here. And into the second chain, I'll make a slip stitch
18:58
and then I'll make a slip stitch into each chain until I get to this point
19:10
as I finish the chain stitches then I'll work a single crochet around this edge here
19:17
and then I'll continue with slip stitch for the chains all the way to the hand here
19:23
so I'll just go ahead and finish that up and I'll come back to show you what the final piece looks like
19:28
So I'm sure with the straps and I've whipped in all my ends
19:33
