This unisex pompom baby booties looks great in different colour combinations even in neutral colour. This bootie has a ribbed cuff detailing that gives your baby extra warmth and pompom embellishment makes it even cutier.
With this pattern, you can make cute baby booties just working in rows and it’s more convenient and faster than working in the round and you can be sure that your booties will come out the same size. Materials:
3.5 mm crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn – 200g (100g of each colour)
Colour A =Green
Colour B = White
Stitch markers (Optional)
Yarn needle

Advanced beginner
Gauge :
18 stitches /16 rows= 10 cm/4 inch square in Hdc
Stitches:
Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet
Hdc: Half double crochet
Dc2tog: Double crochet two together
Pattern Notes:
- Ch 1 or Ch 2 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
Pattern Instructions:
Ch 25
Row 1: 1 Sc in the house 2nd chain from the hook, Mark the stitch with a stitch marker, 1 Sc in each stitch across. 24 stitches.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 8(10, 12) stitches, 2 Hdc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 8(10,12) stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch. 32stitches.
Row 3: Ch 2, turn. 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 30(34, 38) stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch, finish the last Hdc with Slst with colour B 34 stitches.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the front loop only of the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 SC in the front loops only in each stitch across, finish the last Sc with Slst with colour A 34 stitches.
Row 5: Ch 2, turn. 1 Hdc in the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 Hdc in each stitch across 34 stitches.
Row 6: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 9 stitches. 30 stitches.
Row 7: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches , Dc2tog 2 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 9 stitches. 28 stitches.
Row 8: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 7 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches , Dc2tog 2 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 8 stitches. 26 stitches.
Row 9: Ch 1, turn. 1 Sc in the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 Sc in each stitch across 26 stitches.
Cuff
Row 1:Ch 17, Sc in the second Ch from hook, Sc in the remaining chains. 16 Sc. Skip the first stitch and Slst to the 2nd stitch on the bootie.
Row 2: Turn. Do not Ch 1.Sc in BLO of each of the 16 Sc from previous row
Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO in each of the 16 Sc from previous row. Skip a stitch then Slst into the next stitch on the bootie.
Row 4-12 : repeat rows 2 and 3
Row 13: Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO if each of the 16 Sc from previous row. Slst to the 13th stitch on bootie. Ch1 and cut yarn.
Rejoin yarn to the other end of the bootie and repeat the process.
Mark the first stitches on both sides of the cuff
Slst the first 6 stitches together.
Finishing:
With right sides facing, Sew up seam from the top of the booties down to the sole and weave in ends.
Attach pompom as an embellishment.
