Have you ever wondered how to crochet a pleated skirt with sewing? The crochet high waist skirt is the answer. After I released the baby and kids version of the crochet high waist skirt two years ago, I have been getting requests for the adult version of this beautiful crochet pleated skirt. After so much wait, it’s finally here! I made some little changes in the adult version and also there are no suspenders. This beautiful crochet skirt is perfect for so many outings, the possibilities are endless. It’s a very easy crochet skirt to make, as it uses simple crochet stitches to achieve such a beautiful finished look.
DESIGN
The crochet high waist skirt pattern is worked in rounds from the bottom up. It has a two row repeat for the lower part of the skirt and also for the ribbed part. It is worked in one piece and requires no sewing.
EASY
This easy crochet high waist skirt is worked in rounds with a two repeat. It uses mainly the double crochet stitch. It’s a fun and easy project, that you can be working on while watching Netflix.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Customize the length of your crochet high waist skirt by adjusting the number of rows you make. This crochet pleated skirt pattern is 25 inches long plus the ribbed part. You can make less rows to make your shorter or more rows to make it longer.
YARN
I used Dk weight yarn for this easy crochet pleated skirt pattern. You can use any Dk weight yarn of your choice.
SIZES
The adult high waist skirt pattern contains instructions for five different sizing options, which includes waist measurements of 24-28(30-36, 38-44,45-48,49-50) inches.
