This is another crochet turban pattern and this one is slouchy. This crochet turban is super easy as all you need to do is crochet a flat rectangle and work some magic with your tapestry needle. This turban works up super fast and the result looks great.
DESIGN
The crochet slouchy turban starts just a simple rectangle that ends with ribbing. Then a few sewing is made with Tapestry needle to achieve the turban. It’s quite easy to make.
EASY
This crochet turban pattern is beginner friendly and quite easy to make as it a simple rectangular shape and it uses simple crochet stitches to achieve this, the rest is just requires simple sewing skills.
YARN
I used Dk weight yarn for this project as I don’t want it to be too heavy. You can use any Dk weight yarn of your choice.
SIZE
This post contains the written instructions for this easy crochet turban, it has only one sizing options that fits all adult. It’s very beginner friendly and a very easy pattern.

Pattern note
- The hat is worked flat. Chain up for the height and the number of rows is the circumference of the head.
- Ch 2 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
Pattern instructions
Chain 65
Row 1: Dc in the 3rd chain from the hook and in each chain across. 63 stitches.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in the first stitch and in each stitch across. 63 stitch.
Row 3-48: Repeat row 2
Row 49: Ch 2, turn. FPDC around the post of the first stitch, BPDC around the post of the next stitch. Keep alternating until the end of the row. Row ends with FPDC.
Row 50: Ch 2, turn. BPDC around the post of the first stitch, FPDC around the post of the next stitch. Keep alternating until the end of the row. Row ends with BPDC. Ch 1 and fasten off.
FINISHING
Mark the centre stitch (32nd stitch) with stitch markers at 10 rows interval. Gather up the project by using tapestry needle and a piece of thread through the centre. Tie yarn in place so it doesn’t come undone.
Sew up the remaining top and side seams. Do not gather.
Pleat up the sewn top and side seams so as to reduce the height of the project.
