This simple baby ruffle skirt is so easy to make, you could crochet it while watching Netflix.. The skirt is worked top down. And the end result is superb. The skirt has been made in just one color but you can be creative with how you want to mix the colors.

5.0 mm crochet hook

Ch: Chain
Dc: Double crochet
Slst: Slip stitch

Gauge:
16 stitches /8 rows= 10 cm/4 inch square in Dc
Pattern notes
- Ch 2 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch
- The skirt is worked in rounds.
- The skirt is worked top down
Pattern instructions
(chain loosely or use a bigger hook or start with foundation double crochet in the round, so that the band will be stretchy)
Ch 60 join in the round with a slst. make sure you don’t twist when you joining in round
Round 1: Ch 2, Dc in the first stitch and into each stitch around. Finish round with a Slst to first Dc.
Round 2: Ch 2, Fpdc around the post of the first stitch, *Bpdc around the post of the next stitch, Fpdc around the post of the next stitch* repeat around the round. Finish round with Bpdc around the post of the last stitch. Finish round with a Slst to first stitch. 60 stitches.
Round 3: repeat round 2
Round 4: Ch 2, Dc into the first stitch and into each stitch around. Finish round with a Slst to first Dc. 60 stitches
Round 5 – 10: repeat round 4
Round 11: Ch 2, 3 Dc into the first stitch, 3 Dc into each stitch around. Finish round with a Slst to the first Dc of the round. 180 stitches.
Round 12: Ch 2, Dc into the first stitch and into each stitch around. Finish round with a Slst to first Dc. 180 stitches.
Round 13- Round 19: repeat round 12 Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Finishing
Make a long chain and pass it through the waistband.
You can also add any edging details of your choice.
Weave in all ends
