I used cotton yarn which is best for crochet coasters for this easy crochet coaster pattern. It is worked in rows and then a decorative edging is added. The bow is used as am embellishment for the pleated baby dress, which is a very beautiful crochet baby dress pattern.

Sc: Single Crochet
Slst: Slip Stitch
Tr: Treble Crochet

- Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
- Ch 3 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.

The Coaster
Ch 19
Row 1: Skip 1st chain from hook, Sc into the 2nd Chain from hook, Sc into each stitch across. (18 Sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first stitch and into each stitch across. (18 Sc)
Row 3-18: Repeat row 2
Edging
Ch 3, Tr in the first stitch, slst in the next, *Tr in the next, slst in the next,* repeat till the end of row, continue *Tr in the next, slst in the next,* on the side by working into the side of each row, continue around the whole piece, slst to the first stitch of the edging. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
To make into a bow.
Cut a long piece of yarn in the same color or in another color and wrap around the middle of the piece to form a bow.
