Looking for a matching set of crochet ear warmer and cowl? I designed the asymmetric crochet chevron cowl to compliment the crochet chevron headband. It is a fast and easy beginner friendly crochet cowl great for the winter weather. You can match it with the Chevron headband. What’s more? It’s super warm and cozy. It has four sizing options like the crochet Chevron headband and you can make a matching pair for yourself, partner and kids!

DESIGN

This asymmetric crochet chevron cowl is worked in rows using single crochet and single crochet in back loops only. Once done, you then either sew it close with a tapestry needle or use slip stitch to close up the cowl.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

The asymmetric chevron crochet cowl is just an unequal chevron as the name implies. It is a very beginner friendly pattern as it uses basic crochet stitches to achieve this easy crochet Ribbed cowl.

FAST AND EASY

This crochet chevron cowl works up quiet fast, it has two rows repeat, which seems quite like a one row repeat except for the uneven number of stitches on both part of the cowl. It’s a crochet project that you can make while binging Netflix. It also has a video tutorial to help if you are a visual learner.

YARN

I used worsted weight yarn for this easy crochet cowl pattern. You can use any worsted weight yarn of your choice.
