This adorable crochet baby booties worked flat design features the alpine stitch, it perfectly compliments the crochet alpine baby bonnet. This alpine stitch used in this design gives it a unique look. This crochet baby booties uses two complementing colours, it could be made in a single colour but looks even better when you use two colours. It so easy to make and the final result is stunning.
DESIGN
The sole of alpine crochet baby booties is made with color A and the upper part with color B, the upper part ends with alpine stitch which gives it a beautiful detailing.

I used worsted weight yarn in two complementary colors. I used milk cotton yarn which is super soft and perfect for baby projects. You can use any worsted weight yarn of your choice.

Row 2: Ch 2, 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 8 stitches, 2 Hdc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 8 stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch. 32 stitches.
Row 3: Ch 2, 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 30 stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch, finish the last Hdc with Slst with colour B 34 stitches.
Row 4: (With colour B) 1 Sc in the front loop only of the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the front loops only in each stitch across 34 stitches.
Row 5: 1 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Hdc in each stitch across 34 stitches.
Row 6: Ch 1, 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 9 stitches. 30 stitches.
