I designed the crochet puff baby romper with the spring and summer in mind. Similarly, the crochet baby mono-strap romper is another crochet baby romper, designed for spring and summer. This baby romper fits baby girls 0-3 months. This crochet baby onesie has a beautiful puff design that a dds to its beauty. the PDF pattern contains additional instructions for 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months. This beginner friendly crochet baby romper is super easy to make as it uses simple crochet stitches like single crochet and half double crochet. This baby romper looks great in a lot of colours, including neutrals and you can also decide to make the onesie in colour combination with the puff part in another colour or you can even use verigated yarn. 4.5mm crochet hook

Light worsted weight yarn

Stitch markers

Yarn needle

Difficulty:

Beginner

Stitch Guide (US Version):

Ch: Chain

Sc: Single Crochet

Hdc: Half double crochet

Hdc3tog: Half double crochet three together

Slst: Slip stitch

BABY ROMPER PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS

Front Panel

Ch 12

Row 1: Hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook, Hdc in each chain across. (10 Hdc)

Row 2: Ch 2, turn 2 Hdc in the first stitch, 1 Hdc in each stitch across, 2 Hdc in the last stitch. (12 Hdc)

Row 3-10: Repeat row 2 (28 Hdc)

Row 11: Ch 2, turn, 1 Hdc in each stitch across, (28 Hdc)

Row 12-20: Repeat row 11

Row 21: Ch 2, turn. 3 Hdc in the first stitch, 3 Hdc into each stitch across (84 stitches)

Row 22: Ch 2, turn. 1 Hdc in each stitch across (84 stitches)

Row 23-26: Repeat row 22. (84 stitches)

Row 27: Ch 2, turn Hdc3tog in the first 3 stitches, repeat across (28 stitches)

Row 28: Ch 1, turn, Sc in first stitch, Sc in each stitch across. (28 Hdc) Ch 1 and cut yarn.

Back Panel

Repeat same as front panel till row 10

Row 11-27: Ch 2, turn, 1 Hdc in each stitch across, (28 Hdc)

Row 28: Ch 1, turn, Sc in first stitch, Sc in each stitch across. (28 Hdc) Ch 1 and cut yarn.

Straps

Count 7 stitches from both ends of the front and back panels.

Attach yarn with a slip knot in the 7th stitch. Ch 50 and cut yarn.

FINISHING

With the right sides facing, Place the front panel of the baby romper over the back panel and sew the sides,that is sew row 11-28 on both sides.

Sew the bottom part together.

Sc around the leg parts.

Weave in all ends.

Back Panel

Repeat same as front panel till row 10

Row 11-27: Ch 2, turn, 1 Htr in each stitch across, (28 Htr)
