Bow Crop Top
The bow top is what you get when you are searching for an easy to make summer top that works up super fast. This crochet top pattern is a very easy and quick make. You only have to crochet the front which is a basic rectangle while the back is made up of only straps.
This post contains the written instructions for the crochet bow crop top, this crochet crop top fits bust size 34-38 inches. This top is great for the summer weather. It’s very beginner friendly and a very easy pattern.

Materials
Dk weight yarn – 100g ball
4.0 mm crochet hook
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Stitch Guide (US Version)
Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
Slst: Slip stitch
Gauge:
16 stitches /11 rows = 10 cm/4 inches in Hdc
Pattern note
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
- Top is worked bottom up
- For a shorter top make only 30 rows depending on your height.
Pattern Instructions
Ch 65
Row 1: Hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook, Hdc in each chain across. 63 stitches.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Hdc in the first stitch and in each stitch across.63 stitches.
Row 3-30(35): Repeat row 2. 63 stitches.
Straps
Chain 70, skip first stitch, Sc through the back bump all the way down, Sc into the next stitch and in each of the next 60 stitches, chain 70 skip first stitch, Sc all the way down Sc into the last stitch. Make 1 Sc on the side of each row for 15(17) rows, chain 70 skip first stitch, Sc all the way down, Sc on the side of the next 14(17) rows, chain 70 skip first stitch, Sc all the way down, Sc on the side of the last row. Sc into each of the 63 stitches on the bottom. Sc on the side of the first row, chain 70 skip first stitch, Sc all the way down, Sc on the side of the next 15(17) rows, chain 70 skip first stitch, Sc all the way down, Sc on the side of the next 14(17) rows, Slst to the beginning. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
The Middle
Locate the middle stitch from either end which is the 32nd stitch from either end. Mark the middle stitch at 10 rows interval, use tapestry needle and yarn to pass through the middle stitch, pull the middle together and tie. Wrap another piece of yarn around the middle to make it tight.
Cover
Ch 7,
Row 1: Hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook, Hdc in the remaining stitches. (5 Hdc)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Hdc in each stitch across. (5 Hdc)
Row 3-10: Repeat row 2
Place it under the middle part and slst together the first and last rows. Ch 1 and cut yarn.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
