Measurement
9 inches long, 20 inches circumference
Materials
Worsted weight yarn – 100g.
6.0 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitches (US Version)
Ch: Chain
Yo-Slst: Yarn over Slip stitch: yarn over insert to hook into a specified stitch, yarn over pull through (three loops on your hook), pull the first loop on your hook through the remaining two loops to complete the stitch
BLO: Back loops only
Gauge :
14 stitches /14 rows = 10 cm/4 inches in Yo-slst
Pattern note
- Chain up for the length of the neck warmer and the number of rows is the circumference of the neck warmer.
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
Pattern instructions
Ch 38
Row 1: Skip the first chain, Yo-slst into the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. 37 stitches.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Yo-slst in the back loop only of the first stitch and into the back loop only of each stitch across. 37 stitches.
Rows 3-67: Repeat row 2. Ch 1, leave a long tail and cut yarn. (37 stitches)
Sewing
Using the second row to determine the right side, with the v’s running up, fold the piece with the right side facing, sew the seam close.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
