It’s Spring, it’s time for some color lacy crochet items. The Spring season was my main inspiration for this crochet scarf and that’s why I named it Spring Scarf, it is a colorful, lacy and light crochet scarf perfect for Spring.
DESIGN
This spring crochet scarf is worked in rows. It has a one row repeat once you get to row 3. It is a simple lacy scarf with a very beautiful look.
BEGINNER FRIENDLY
The Spring scarf is very beginner friendly, it uses simple crochet stitches such as chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet and double crochet two together to create this cute, lacy crochet scarf. It has a one row repeat and easy to follow instructions. It’s a fun, colorful crochet scar
FAST AND EASY
This Spring crochet scarf works up pretty fast and it’s an easy project to make. You can make this easy crochet scarf while watching TV. It also has a video tutorial to help if you are a visual learner.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
My version of the spring crochet scarf measures about 4 inches wide and 70 inches long. You can make scarf your wider or even make it into a shawl! Just make sure your starting chain is a multiple of 5 for however wide you want your scarf or shawl to
YARN
I used fingering weight yarn for this easy crochet scarf pattern. You can use any fingering weight yarn of your choice or even Dk or worsted weight yarn if you prefer.

Sc: Single Crochet
Dc: Double Crochet

Pattern notes
- The scarf is worked in rows.
- You can make your scarf wider or even make a shawl just increase your starting chain in multiples of 5.
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the rows does not count as a stitch.
Pattern Instructions:
Ch 20, or any multiple of 5
Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook, Sc in each stitch across (19 Sc)
Row 2: Ch 5, turn. Dc2tog in the second stitch, Ch 3, skip 4, Sc in the next stitch, Ch 3, Dc2tog in the same stitch finish row with skip 1, Dc in the last stitch.
Row 3: Ch 5, turn. Dc2tog on Dc2tog of previous row, Ch 3, Sc in the next Dc2tog, Ch 3, Dc2tog in the same Dc2tog finish row with Dc in the 3rd chain of the 5 chains from previous row.
Row 4-118: Repeat row 3.
Row 119: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first two stitches, Ch 4, Sc on Dc2tog finish row with Ch 1, Sc in the 3rd chain of the 5 chains from previous row.
Row 120: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the 1st stitch, Sc into each stitch across. (19 Sc) Ch 1 and cut yarn.
